זה קצת ארוך. אבל אני מיואש!

טוב יש לי שני מחשבים, כרטיס רשת בכל מחשב וכבל מוצלב. לכל מחשב נתתי ip שונה ולשניהם את אותו הsubnet ו workgroup

לפני כמה חודשים קניתי מחשב חדש amd 1400 ו gigabyte ga-7dxr התקנתי את הכרטיס רשת והרשת עבדה כמו שצריך לאחר שהתקנתי את הדרייברים של ה asus v7700 ו הכרטיס קול התחילו הצרות. בשני המחשבים יש win98se במחשב אחד הייתי רואה את המחשב השני בשכנים ברשת אבל לא יכולתי להיכנס אליו וגם עם ping הייתי מקבל time out. במחשב השני לא הייתי רואה את המחשב הראשון בשכנים ברשת אבל ping כן הייתי מקבל. בנוסף למרות זאת יכולתי לשחק hearts ברשת עם שני המחשבים. התקנתי כמה פעמים את המערכת מחדש וראיתי שהתופעה חוזרת כאשר אני מתקין את הדרייברים של הכרטיס קול והמסך. אמרתי נואש וחיכיתי לדרייברים חדשים שיצאו. עכשיו התקנתי winxp במחשב החדש ועדיין הבעיה נמשכת רק שהפעם hearts לא פועל ברשת. בנוסף כאשר אני מנסה להכנס ל workgroup אני מקבל הודעה:

home is not accessible. you might have not premission to use this network resource.

contact the adimnastertor of this server to find out if you have access permission

החלפתי כמה כרטיסים ועדכנתי דרייברים וביוס

עוד רעיונות ?????????

תאמת לא נתקלתי הדריוורים כל כרטיס מסך וכרטיס קול דפקו את הרשת.....מעניין!

אולי אחרי שאתה מתקין את הדריוורים יש לך התנגשות חומרה עם הכרטיס רשת??

ניסית להעביר אותו לסלוט אחר?

ניסיתי 4 כרטיסים שונים ב 5 סלוטים שונים!

הממ....לפני שאתה מתקין את הדריוורים הכל עובד פיקס?

כמו כן תנסה להתקין רק את הכרטיס מסך....ותראה אם הבעיה מופיע אחרי זה תעשה אותו הדבר עם הכרטיס קול ותראה!

כמו כן תנסה שיטה נוספת

תוציא את הכרטיס רשת (להוציא פיזית מהמחשב)...תתקין את הכרטיס קול והכרטיס מסך שהכל יעבוד כולל הדריוורים

ורק אז תחזיר את הכרטיס רשת ותתקין אותו ותראה מה קורה!

ניסיתי כבר את כל הקומבינות האפשריות .

לדעתי זו בעיה של הגדרות.

בכל אופן, ב - XP לדעתי אתה צריך להגדיר יוזר על ה XP כך שהמחשב השני יעשה אליו LOG IN ואז זה יהיה לך הרבה יותר פשוט.

בנוגע ל הגדרות, תתחיל עם כל ההגדרות הכי פשוטות שאפשר. למשל:

תן למחשב אחד IP של 1.1.1.1 ולמחשב השני 1.1.1.2

לשניהם SUBNET של 255.255.255.0 .

תגדיר לשניהם אותה קבוצת עבודה (WORKGROUP) כמו למשל TEST

תן לכל מחשב שם משלו.

תגדיר יוזר על ה XP, ותתחבר במחשב השני עם היוזר שהגדרת.

do the following

controll panel

network

remove all protocols

click ok

restart (#1)

after the restart (system coming up) it will id the network card, install it and restart again (win9x (#2))

THEN!!!!

after u did that on BOTH computers

use these settings:

ip: 192.168.0.1 / 192.168.0.2 (1 for each)

subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

enable file sharing (if you want)

restart again (#3)

if THEN, the computers can't see each other (ping 192.168.0.1/2) the problem is at the nic/cable.

make sure everything is done "clean" all in that order, without anything in the way.

also, try win2000 sp2 (soon 3) won't happen there (but more complicated to operate it)

(the workgroup is bs, they can see each other even if it's diffrent, sometimes they can even share files if it's diffrent)

btw, the 'can't see computer, but ping is going', is a windows login problem.

also, the most easy way to fix it, is removing all protocols, and reinstalling them after few restarts

תגדיר ב XP משתמש נוסף הם הרשאה כזאת או אחרת ועם אותו שם תכנס למחשב השני

1. אמרתי שבשניהם יש win98se אך באחד יש גם winxp.

2. אני לא רואה שום סיבה למה דווקה ה ip הספציפי הזה יעבוד ושלי לא. ה workgroup לא צריך לשנות. מקסימום יהיו כמה.

3. ניסיתי אפילו את הדיסקת של ה wizard של xp בלי ip ספציפי. עדיין כאשר אני עושה ping ל host name אני רואה שהוא עושה ping ל ip (כלומר הוא יודע איזה ip שייך ל host) אבל אני מקבל time out.

הקטע המוזר זה ש ping מהראשון לשני עובד ומהשני לראשון מקבל timeout.

בקשר ל user ב xp אני צריך לבדוק את זה.

טוב ב win98se שניהם עובדים אבל כאשר אני משתמש ב xp ה xp מקבל ping מהמחשב השני אבל שוב אותה ההודעה על ה workgroup ומהמחשב השני אני לא מקבל ping

מישהו יודע מה גורם להודעה הזאת?

לפי מה שאני יודע לא צריך הרשאות בשביל להיות ב workgroup. הרשאות למה???

אתה צריך שבשני במחשבים תהיה אותה הגדרה של ה WORKGROUP כדי שהם יוכלו לראות אחד את השני ולשתף כוננים.

תנסה לשים את אותה קבוצת עבודה בשניהם ותראה אם זה עובד. מה כבר יש לך להפסיד ??

זה לא הרשאות לקבוצה זה הרשאות כניסה למחשב עם ה XP

דרך אגב בXP ביטלת את הפיירוול???????????

i'll tell u what to do in w2k, XP is based on 2k, so it should be the same

also assuming that you are using XP pro, and not the home edition, i dunno nothing about home editions!

here we go:

computer ID:

my computer -> right click

Network Identification

Network ID:

skip the opening screen

then it should ask what u use the computer for

tell him it's a home network, and not a part of a business network (2nd option)

then, it will scan the netowrk for a while, and do everything on it's own (NT5 system)

then, this is where u will setup if u wanna log in into the computer when it starts

or u want windows to login auto as a user, do whatever u like there (kinda helping when it logs in by itself)

then hit finish

it should ask for a reboot, do it if it does.

this is just to make sure:

go back there (network Identification)

hit the Properties

choose the computer name over the network

and make sure that Workgroup is checked (domain is bad!)

enable Guest access:

My computer -> right click

look for manage (click it) (i'm assuming that you are logged on as admin, if not, do it, u must be admin)

the "Computer Managment" window should pop up now.

u need now "Local Users and Groups"

there u should see all the users on that computer

it should say there: Administrator

u need to add a new user:

left click

add user

call is: "Guest"

make sure it's a "member of" - "Guests" group

and if u want, set up a password (depends on how secure u want it) (Recommendation, add a password! )

the Full Name and Description are bullshit leave them blank

in case there is already a user named Guest, make sure it's a part of the "Guests" group, and that it's enabled.

ping other computer, check if it's working

if it still don't work

reset all network config:

My Network Places -> right click

properties

there u should see your LAN

right click, properties

make sure that everything is marked (3 options total, Client, File share, TCP/IP (protocol), anything else there, remove it)

properties into the Client, it should say there Windows Locator

next is TCP/IP (file & printer sharing got no properties)

ip should be 192.168.0.1 (or .2)

mask should be 255.255.255.0

DNS, empty if not needed

leave everything else blank, no numbers

it shouldn't ask for a restart, but if it do asks, it means it needs it.

after you are back (if restart was needed)

check if the connection is working (ping <other computer ip>)

that was a complete reset of all settings under Win2000, XP is based on 2000, so it should be the same.

if after this it doesn't work, problem is some sort of conflict with other drivers, and that means headach to solve, i'd just do a clean format at that point (u won't need 98 anyway) and reinstall a clean XP.
