hi i got a problem i am trying all day now to install win xp on my new pc with no luck oh ya and i tryed to install from 5 cds not the same V

i am geting this error:

sxs.dll syntax erro in manifest or policy file gdiplas.man on line 4

the request could not be performed because of an i/o device error

thats all it say after it get stuck for 1h haf way in to the install

any ideas how to fix it?

pc is

mb:asus p5k

ram:xms2 ddr2 800 corsic

cpu:6600

v-card:asus gtx

hd:80g and 2x250g

thats it if u have any ideas of same thing i can try plez let me know
