New cooler for a pentium 4 2.4 B

A week ago I asked for opinions about which cooler i should get in order to cool my P4 2.4B better.

I think I narrowed it down to four possible choices, when the leading guidelines are that the cooler wont be too noisy but will lower my full load temps in overclock by atleast 5-7 degrees.

I got my 2.4B running 167 FSB, meaning 3 ghz and in order to maintain this I needed to overvolt it to 1.650 V which caused serious heating and the cpu gets to around 50-54 degrees when running full load.

My four candidates are:

ZALMAN CNPS5700D-Cu

ZALMAN CNPS6500B-Cu

VANTEC AeroFlow TMD VP4-C7040

AX478 + Enermax fan doing 30 cfm (manual speed controller)

Which of these do you think has the best chance to provide both the criterions i provided best?.

Thanks in advance.

Please stop opening more threads on this issue.

Stay away from the ZALMAN CNPS5700D-Cu, the CNPS6500B-AlCu is much better, and doesn't cost much more. notice the 'AlCu', meaning its also made from Aluminium.

The VANTEC AeroFlow TMD VP4-C7040 might be a good choice too considering its price. AX478 is still a better preformor, but costs much more.

bottom line, the CNPS6500B-AlCu is most bang-for-the-buck, and also gives the best performance (usually overruns the costy AX478).

Sorry about opening a new thread, I didnt know if it was fitting to raise the old one again after a week.

I indeed think ill go for that Zalman, it seems fairy impressive.

but do you think its capable of improving my cpu temperature by 5 degrees or more compared to the stock cooler?

Yeah, sure. you could even go read the link I've posted in your last thread, which has the stock Vs. AX478 and the Zalman too.

and BTW if you find where you could get the 6500AlCu, I'd be happy if you post it or PM me.

the bears seem to have one of the versions, but they haven't answered me which one..
