With Intel's 875P chipset and ASUS Intelligence features, the P4C800 is both smart and powerful. Other excellent specifications include dual-channel DDR, 800MHz FSB, AGP 8X, Hyper-Threading Technology, and Gbit LAN.

Intel 875P chipset

Leveraging the Intel 875P chipset to support 3.2 GHz+ P4 CPU on 800MHz FSB, Dual DDR 400 memory, Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, Intel Performance Acceleration Technology, and a full-range of advanced features, P4C800 really delivers a full-value, high-performance solution for today's most demanding tasks.

Dual-Channel DDR400

Dual-channel DDR technology doubles the bandwidth of your system memory and hence boost the system performance to out perform any memory existing solutions in the market. System bottlenecks are eliminated with balanced architecture and peak bandwidths up to 6.4GB/s

u can install a maximum of 4GB

in order to keep the dual channel setup u need the same models but that is not a must sometimes different types do work in dual channel mode.
