האם יש הפצה תומכת גם 64 ביט וגם ריבוי מעבדים עם הצ'יפסט 965.

ניסיתי אובונטו 6.06 לייב והכל נראה סביר עד לשלב מתקדם שבו פשוט הכל נתקע.

ניסיתי גם להתקין וכמובן שנתקלתי בבאג הידוע שבו ההתקנה מאבדת את ה- CD.

יש למישהוא מחברי הפורום איזה שהוא ניסיון טוב או רע עם הפצות אחרות?

גיגלתי וקראתי ולכן אני מחפש עיצה אישית ומקצועית מחברי הפורום כיוון שבמקומות אחרים יש כל מיני מעקפים מוזרים.

Connect IDE drive to SATA controller using a converter

Rosewill RC204 adapter confirmed to work with Samsung SH-S162A drive

This SATA to IDE Converterworked for me. Be sure to plug your hard drives and optical drives in the Intel ICH 8 I/O controllers (Yellow SATA connectors on my board).

Use USB-IDE adapter to connect IDE CDROM, and boot from regular installation CD.

PCI/ATA controller card. I'm using a CMD649U chipset based card, although I can't seem to boot off the CD as isolinux brings up an error.

נראה לי שאני אנסה knoppix משום מה באתר של אובונטו הם טוענים שהוא אמור לעבוד.

אני חושב שזה רק איזו הגדרה גראפית צריך עוד לשחק עם זה.
