First of all sorry i'm writing in english

i just formatted my h.d. and for now all i've got is Win98 non hebrew

anyway my question is i have an Athlon xp1800+ with a generic cooler

a friend of mine gave me a cak 38 II but its too noisy along with my ti 4600

can i put the cak's heatsink with my regular fan and will it help the temps?

    You can try doing it, just watch the temp' and check if the are still O.K

    Anyhow be ready to shutdown if anything it too hot

    My 1800+ is cooled by CAK38 and a GreenPower fan...

    the temps are higher by 1-2 degrees, but much quieter...

    GreenPower fan? never heard of it

    if you can please give me a little more info

    it's the standard AMD cpu HSF

    just take the fan (60mm) and mount it onto the CAK38

    the fan is preety good, and spins at about 5500-5800 RPM
