רוב המשחקים תומכים במסך רחב. רוב האלה שלא, ניתן להפעיל עליהם PATCH מסויים, שכן יתמכו.

אם אין PATCH והמשחק לא תומך, אז אכן הוא יימתח מעט לצדדים. כדי להפוך את התמונה לכזו עם פסים שחורים בצדדים, למסך צריכה להיות אופציית SCALING 1:1.
