the filters (the few there are) are applied locally and not on the quarry server. which means it retrieves everything regardless of the filters. for example if you filter BF2 to show ranked only, it will retrieve the entire list and then filter out the unranked, where as ASE would ask the quarry server to send only the ranked server. also I suspect that Qtracker quarry server doesn't send server information and that Qtracker quarries every server individually.

also there is no way to filter by country, only by region and it can be changed only from the options. so every time you want to play CS:S you need to change it to asia which is still like 5000+ servers and remove it when you wanna play BF2.
