    אם זה נגן שמאפשר חיבור כ-Mass Storage Device (כלומר הוא מופיע ככונן נוסף על גבי המחשב), אז ודאי שאפשר.

    לעומת זאת יש נגנים שאפשר להעביר אליהם קבצים רק באמצעות תוכנה מיוחדת (כמו ipod או נגנים מסויימים של iriver ו-creative), אז בעיקרון אי אפשר, אלא אם הנגן מאפשר את זה במיוחד (נניח, ל-creative zen micro אפשר להגדיר שחלק מהמקום יוקצה למידע שאינו שירי mp3).
