יכול להיות שדווקא כן כי יתכן וספייר הורידו את המתח של הליבה וזיכרונות כי הם לא אמורים לעבוד במהירות כזאת גבוהה כמו XT. בכל מקרה, העלאת מתח בX1800 זה לא בעיה. אפשר דרך הדרייברים.
