Cons: I recommanded to one client to buy the famous Pentium D 805 chip for overclocking with this motherboard, so I decided to overclock my P4 603(3.0Ghz processor) first. This is what I found: I was not as lucky as one viewer---using 258FSB and got a stable speed of 3.87Ghz. At that speed, I got crashes and instability. I did get ~20% overclocking like another reviewer with a very stable windows(238FSB, 115 PCIE, 33.3 PCI = 3.57Ghz). I think you can get 30% by setting the overclock profile first to 30%. Whether it will be stable is entirely up to how cool it is inside your CPU and MB. The reason I said that is in my last 2 days of experimenting its OC capacity, I observed heat seems to be a major factor. I noticed when it crashed at 30% OC, the CPU shot up to ~75 degree under very heavy load. A rough formula I came up with may help overclockers: 20% OC yields 15% of speed and 12% of temp increase. If one were to use a better CPU fan, 30% OC with stability may be attainable!

Other Thoughts: By the way, my system has this mb, P4 603, 512 kingston DDR2, 1 WD 40gb HD, 1 Maxtor 120gb HD, the original CPU fan and heatsink, 1 exhaust fan at the back, and an antec 400w PS. One odd thing though, all rails seem to have drop a bit when it is even at idle when overclocked by 20%! After I finish overclocking my 2 clients' pc's, I will update my review again. Even though I am a computer consultant, I seldom advise people to overclock. I am sorry to the OC'ers that I always stay on the stability side of the fence. This is the first time I was asked to overclock for the sake of cost by a business client. Since the 20%-30% stable overclocking is possible for this motherboard, I add another 1/2 an egg to the 4 egg rating I gave a couple months ago. But unfortunately I could not do it in the "egg gauge"! Thanks to newegg posting all these reviews for our benefit!

איזה לוח אם רגיל מומלץ בתקציב עד 700 ש"ח? אני מעוניין בלוח אם פשוט, איכותי וטוב ל-OC. אני לא רוצה לוח עם אפשרויות שבחיים לא אשתמש בהן.

אני מעוניין לעשות OC מ- 2.66@ 3.22. הקפיצה הראשונה. הבנתי שרק צריך להעלות את ה-FSB ל-166.
