My AMD 3800X2

temp after i finished playing oblivion is around 36c

which i think is low for AMD, isn't it?

I am using the cooler which came with the cpu.

is it suppost to be so low or something is not working right?

    the temp is just fine, but if you want to be sure, you should run a stress test like S&M to check the max temp of your cpu.

    Go to the BIOS and check your'e temp on half load...

    you will probably get like 35-40 degrees.

    BTW, the new AMD microarchitechture is much colder then the previous one...
