hey there.

well, this new computer will be mostly used for multimedia (has to have a tv-out), internet & office, graphic design (photoshop mostly), and some video editing (mostly ripping DVDs and converting videos to ipod format). I'm also going to use it for some gaming so I want it to be able to run new games well - but it's the least important thing.

I already have a DVD burner and DVD drive so there's no need for new ones. I also have a hard drive but I want to add another one - at least 250GB.

I don't really have a budget limit, but keeping it under 1000$ would be nice. I'm in the United States right now and I will be coming back in a few weeks so I thought I'd use the chance to buy from newegg.com and save some money.

I'm going to have to carry it back to Israel so I think I won't be buying the case or the monitor here (so basically just the cpu, motherboard, memory, video card, hard drive, floppy and cooling), Also if you think any of the parts might be vulenrable and shouldn't be carried on a plane by me, let me know.

now, this has a very good very OCable cpu, good solid motherboard, pretty darn good video card thats not too expenssive. lots of good quality ram and a HD with 16mb cache and NCQ capabilities.

the video card has TV out and HDTV capabilities, but it doesnt have VIVO. so i suggest you grab this on the way:

as for cpu cooling heat sink and a floppy: i suggest you buy them here, cooling can be very heavy and the price difference on floppies doent justify the flight overweight

לגבי 4GB, לדעתי זה טירוף. 2GB זה כבר הרבה מעבר למומלץ. אני גם לא בטוח שאפילו פוטושופ תנצל את זה. אז יהיה לך PAGEFILE בגודל של 2KB. אז מה.
