another question - i'm in the United Stated right now, would you reccoment buying any parts here or maybe even the entire computer? I've heard newegg.com are considered cheap but i never bought anything from there.

the problem with yanks is they usually dont know shit about computer specs, only brand names. the average american wouldnt walk into a wallmart and ask for an intel or AMD PC, he'll just ask for a dell.

thats where NEWEGG come in. they're a REALLY cheap, very reliable online store, and i have lots of internet buddies who have bought from them in the past and enjoyed the experience. they're the only viable option for a computer enthusiast in the states. they also have great sales.

the comp spec i just provided the other guy is very gaming oriented, and is centered around the vid card. for photoshop and other uses which dont include gaming, i suggest you open your own thread and specifically ask people to build you a custom spec from newegg, given a USD budget and all.
