I'm looking to get 100 fps stable at anytime at CS 1.6, and when I mean anytime I mean 10+ models on screen and a couple of smokes grenades too. I know that 1.6 engine is very old and everything, but with my current system I'm aint getting that.

my current specs:

p4 3.0GHz

512 dual ddram 400mhz

radeon 9500 softmoded to 9700

with that I get 100 fps, but when seeing 5+ models on screen it drops.

I have about 600-700 nis.

I was thinking about a GeForce 6200A or a 5500... cuz nVidia cards perform better at 1.6 engine... any suggestions ?
