או קיי... אז במחשב שלי יש 512MB RAM - 256 x 2 אבל כל התוכנות במחשב (כולל WINDOWS) אומרות שיש לי רק 448MB. אני היסתכלתי בתוך המחשב וראיתי שם את שני הכרטיסים עם 256 כל אחד אבל למה בתוכנות זה רושם לי פחות? מישהו יכול להסביר לי וגם אם יש פתרון לבעיה זו?

some systems support shared memory between system and graphics card, its possible that you just share a part of the memory with the graphics card (onboard ?).

if not, try using only one stick on memory at a time.

i would suggest going to bios to see the memory status as well.

Thanks! I actually believe thats the problem cause I have a Radeon 9100 IGP (integrated graphics processor) card (64 MB only!) so I believe it does share the RAM. I bought a new Radeon 9550 with more RAM that will be here next week so hopefully the problem will be solved! Thanks for the help! ;D

i believe you can change in the BIOS the amount of RAM that is shared, so it might help with games. (a bit .. don't expect a big difference)
