The Abit AN8-Ultra is a good mix of quality features and overclocking ability. The layout is very good, it has silent cooling, and overclocks with the best of them. I am awarding the AN8-Ultra the Gold Award for excellence in computing hardware. This is a worthy Xtreme device.

Looking at the performance numbers the AN8 Ultra is quite impressive with an overall SYSMark 2004 score of 207. In PCMark 05 it managed an overall score of 4210 and using a GeForce 6800 GT card it produced 11773 in 3DMark 03.

So all well and good in terms of performance numbers, but there is one last hurdle to get past and that is of course price. However, Im happy to say that ABIT has priced the AN8 Ultra quite attractively at £79.08, making it a decent option for anyone looking to build a quiet but powerful AMD based machine.

Verdict

The ABIT AN8 Ultra is the first motherboard with a heatpipe cooled chipset to arrive in the TrustedReviews office and on the whole its an impressive package. If you want a fast machine that doesnt sound like an aeroplane when its running, the AN8 is definitely worth a look.

אם הדעות חלוקות, זה אומר שיש אולי וורסיות חדשות וישנות יותר, ואולי פשוט עניין של ביוס חדש. אני אולי הייתי מחכה איתו עד שיתבררו העניינים וזאת למרות תוצאות מאוד יפות שאנשים כבר הגיעו איתו שאפשר לראות ברחבי ה WEB.

נכון שעם המדבקה יש חלק מצוינים וחלק לא משהו

אבל עם ההטבעה לא ראיתי תלונה אחת ממה שמציינים ב Hard OCP נגד הלוח עם המדבקה

ככה שזה דיי בטוח לעומת הלוחות עם המדבקה

גם בטרד השני אמרתי לך שאני חושב שאתה קופץ מהר מדי למסקנות

אני מעדיף להמליץ לקחת אחד עם הטבעה
