    ה PCI-Express זה שם גנרי (כולל) לכמה חיבורים:

    PCI-Express X16 - הגדול, מיועד לכרטיסי מסך

    PCI-Express X4 - קטן יותר, מיועד לשרתים

    PCI-Express X1 - הוא Peripheral למחשבים ביתיים, כרטיסי רשת קול ושאר ירקות. הוא הקטן שעליו דיברת
