[ltr]recently I bought 1Gb of BH-5 in 2 sticks of 512mb each. now for some reason, they just doesn't want to run even close to stock (stock is 433 2.5-4-4-7 2.8v) on my NF7-S. right now I'm running them at DDR 333Mhz 2-3-3-10 at 3.3v and it's not even barely stable. FYI I'm running a marlin D25 bios, which helped a bit but still not even close to stock.

I guess it's just a compatibility issue with the NF7 (those are the new BH-5 from 2005). anyways the store is willing to replace them with something else and I don't know what to take. so what I'm looking for is a 1Gb OC memory (512x2) for 1400 nis ,1500 max. can't be BH-5 cause it doesn't work.

דווקא זכרונות BH5 רגילים וBH5 UTT מסתדרים יפה מאוד עם nForce2 ונותנים אוברקלוק יפה מאוד , דווקא לזכרונות TCCD יש בעיות תאימות (מבחינת ניצולת של מהירות ותזמונים) עם nForce2 .

תחפש זכרונות מבוססים על Samsung TCCC / Hynix BT-D43 or CT-D5.

תנסה ביוסים D26 ו D27 של מרלין.

[ltr]SubX, does it apply to '05 BH-5 UTT? because I had 3 or 4 different dimms and none of them worked close to it's stock speed even when highly overvolted and I tried them on 3 "different" platforms, NF7, NF7-S v2, AN7.

edit: btw, I also tried D26, that didn't help that much either.[/ltr]

בדקתי BH-5 UTT חדשים על הNF7 שלי והגעתי ל480-486MHZ ב2.9V (ואני בטוח שהם היו עוברים את ה500MHZ בלי מאמץ אם היה לי אפשרות לתת להם מתח גבוה יותר)

אולי קיבלת זכרונות לא משהו.

דווקא הBH5 UTT שבדקתי על הלוח שלי לאחרונה היה Twinmos Speed Premium.

אם זה לפלטפורמה nForce2 ואינך בכיוון של זכרון מבוסס BH5 לך על ההצעות שאמרתי לך בהודעות קודמות.

[ltr]well it turns out they need to send it to the lab to check it's ok, before they'll replace it/give me store credit, so I have untill the end of the week to decide what to take.

anyways I never heard of those specific hynix chips, what memories use them? and about TCCC the seller at the store, a very nice dude named dima, says there are no TCCC memories available in israel, but he said there might be TCC5 soon or something like that.[/ltr]

[ltr]first of all, sorry for the bounce, but this is very important and there has been an update. the OCZ plat rev 2 priced has jumped by more than 200 nis which moves them waaay out of my price range. I'm thinking about the Kingston HyperX DDR400, I read it is also TCCD, can someone confirm?

if you have a better idea please let me know, but it has to come from pandas (=\) because I have store credit there and they won't give me my money back =[.

הוא טוען שBH5 לא עובדים כמו שצריך על הלוח שלו , לכן הוא צריך זכרונות עם צ'יפים אחרים.

TCCD כמובן לא ינוצל ולא יפיק את מירב הביצועים על הלוח הזה אפילו במהירויות/תזמונים מקבילים בין nForce2 ל nForce3/4 , אך עדיין יכולים לתת את התמורה.
