I know of the sony's crap known as SonicStage and Open MG joke box, both leaves the converted files and have limited checkout. both can be bypassed by burning the music as an Image (using Nero) and then mounting it on a virtual device (using daemon tools) and burning using the Simple Burner, but this is very annoying, time consuming and if it isn't found in CDDB you lose the titles. you can use a plug in for RealOne player, but that requires using... well...  RealOne player. we seriously need a better NetMD burner program, cause this shit won't do. anybody knows one?

don't even bother offering analog recording.

General Stuff:

is there any MiniDisc Player/Recorder that doesn't use that stupid Atrac3 encoding and sticks to the well known and used MP3/OGG/WMA?

how come that with a size of 3/4 a floppy and more than 100 (and now 400 times[HIMD]) times the capacity it hasn't replaced the standard floppy drive?

HI-MD have arrived to Israel the 3 lower models the 600 800 and 900, you can find them at zap, priced sanely I must add. and though does supporting MD to PC uploading it's only for Mic and Line In recording not for stuff that was recorded from a PC via NetMD.[/ltr]
