I have another Ipod-related question:

eIs it possible to buy a cable with an earphon plug on one end and a "banana" on the other end, or must I improvise something? I ask this because I want to use my pod as a source with my (now fixed) amplifier.

יש כבלים ממיני פלאג לשני RCA, נפוצים מאוד.

אני לא חושב שיש לאחד, אלא אם כן המיני פלאג הוא מונו.

בגלל שהיציאה ביא אנלוגית אתה חייב שני יציאות RCA ולא אחת.

או במילים אחרות אתה יכול לחבר דרך כניסת AUX רגילה. לא נראה לי שיעבוד עם דיגיטלי.

Well, the end which goes into my amp is indeed two connections (bananas), infact, when I think about it, my title is wrong, because what comes out of the earphone plug isn't digital or analog, it's just en electrical signal, which goes strait to the earphones.

Yes I think the connection is like an ordinary auxillary connection, you know a "male" banana. so you say it's common?

Btw, if we\re already speaking of digitals as sources, is a difference in sound quality between, say, my iPod and a CD player (assume that the sample rate is so high that it doesn't effect the sound), and what is the difference in sound quality between different digital players (hard disk-based and flash players alike).
