בנוסף, אם אשתמש בדיסקט האתחול של WIN98 במחשב שיש בו XP (כי ארצה להפעיל תוכניות DOS, ואל תגידו לי להפעיל אותן דרך הXP בבקשה:)) האם הדוס שנמצא על הדיסקט אתחול של WIN98 הוא DOS מלא לכל דבר? זאת אומרת לא תיהיה בעיה להפעיל אף תוכנית בDOS דרכו?

או שלמטרה זו עדיף פשוט DISK BOOT של דוס (נגיד 6.22) שאפשר להוריד מwww.bootdisk.com?

    ה-DOS של Win98 הוא גירסא 7.00 והוא DOS לכל דבר. ברגע שמאתחלים איתו אתה נכנס ל-DOS אמיתי וכל דבר שרץ על 6.22 ירוץ גם עליו.
