יש לי ראוטר LEVELONE WBR-6001, ואני מחובר דרך קווי זהב על תשתית HOT.

ה-EMULE וה-UTORRENT שלי מאוד איטיים. אני מבין שזה קשור לפורטים ו\או ל-UPNP ו\או ל-STATIC IP, וניסיתי קצת לשנות דברים ללא הצלחה.

לראוטר יש אופציה USE UPNP SETTINGS” " אבל זה לא עוזר לתוכנות הנ"ל.

אני ממש NOOB, ואשמח מאוד לעזרה והסברים מפורטים צעד-צעד מה לעשות. אם אפשר, הוראות ספציפיות לראוטר דגם WBR-6001 ממש ממש יעזור.

סתם בשביל הבדיקה, ניסית לשים את המחשב ב DMZ host? יכול להיות שיש משהו במחשב שחוסם/משבש תקשורת.

יש אפשרות שאני אתחבר אל הנתב שלך רק תאפשר את האופצייה של עזרה מרחוק בנתב ותשאיר את זה על IP 0.0.0.0 ותתן לי בפרטי רק את הIP החיצוני שלך ואני אגדיר לך ,אם בא לך

אם לא בא לך אז אני אסביר לך בקצרה- אתה צריך לעשות IP סטטי לכרטיס רשת שלך ואז להגדיר בנתב שלך איזה פורטים לפתוח לIP הסטטי שהגדרת וזהו.

ושבתוכנה יהיו את אותם הפורטים שפתחת כמובן.

ולגביי DNZ עדיף כבר לחבר ישירות בלי DNZ בשביל לדעת אם זה באמת המחשב למרות שאין קשר.

כי בנתב זה לא שברגע שפתחת אז הוא פשוט פותח את כל הפורטים. אלא הוא מאשר את אותם הפורטים. ושאתה עושה בדיקה של הפורטים, אותם הפורטים צריכים להיות בשימוש ואז אתה תראה שם פתחוים. בגלל זה זה נקרא port FORWARDing

do I have to set a static IP for my PC AND my router? Or just my PC? I tried doing it but it goes back to dynamic, I don't know why

What about DHCP - do

I need to disable it or not?

Do I need to get the static IP from Kavei Zahav, or do I decide by myself?

Can I set a static IP (where?) and then UPNP will work? If this works, is this better than port forwarding?

I'm confused - please help me with simple n00b step-by-step instcuttions.

כתובת הIP הסטאטית דרושה רק לממשק רשת של אותו מחשב שאתה מתכוון להפנוטת אליו פורטים, בהגדרות הDHCP של הנתב לא צריך לגעת ובטח שלא לדבר עם הספק.

תעשה קודם את כל את מה שהמלצתי ואז אפשר יהיה להתקדם הלאה בתחקור הבעיה.

OK - I did ipconfig and found my IPv4 address "192.168.0.XXX", I then went to the router config screen and put this as the "DMZ host" address, clicked "enable" and "save".

I opened emule and utorrent - still lowID + firewalled KAD + no incoming connections in utorrent...

All other settings are the "default" - dynamic IP, no port forwarding, etc....

I really don't know what basic steps to do - and I really appreciate your help!

P.S. - Is this the correct list of things I should do?:

Set up a static IP for my PC (choosing an IP by myself for the IPv4)

put this IP address in my router DMZ

enable UPNP on my router

enable UPNP on emule and utorrent (using "randomize ports" as well)

no port forwarding is needed

לא היה צריך לבדוק מה כתובת הIP של הממשק אצלך אם הגדרת אותו לכתובת סטאטית.

אם גם שהשמחב נמצא ב DMZ host הכל נכשל יש לך משהו תוכנתי במחשב שעושה את הבעיות. אני בעיקר מדבר על חומת אש/אנטי וירוס/תוכנות אבטחה למיניהן.

Before we check if there's some antivirus/firewall thing blocking, I am pretty sure it's just that I didn't config this properly (BTW - my web surfing is fine). This is why I really need step-by-step help with configing - I need to know what I need to do (on the router, on the PC, and on emule/utorrent), and I need to know how to do it.

I'm confused mostly because I'm not sure what to do and what NOT to do - for example: do I use UPNP or do I do port forwarding, or do I do both??

I really appreciate your help

BTW - I type in English because my laptop doesn't have Hebrew on the keyboard...

קודם כל הבדיקה שאתה עושה בשביל לבדוק אם פתחת פורטים היא לא נכונה בעליל.

אתה בודק רק אם יש לך LOW ID או לא שזה ממש לא נכון.

הרי אתה ב012 ובגללם יכול להיות לך LOW ID ככה שיכול להיות שאתה פותח את הפורטים אבל אתה לא רואה הבדל כי גם ככה 012 עושים את אותו הדבר ככה שאם אתה רוצה לעשות בדיקה של פורטים אם הם פתוחים:

להיכנס לUTORRENT ויש לך שם אפשרות לבדוק האם הפורטים פתוחים או חסומים ואז אתה תדע אם באמת הצלחת או לא ואין קשר לLOW ID!!

כי גם אם תתחבר אפילו בלי נתב אתה תקבל LOW ID

However, I need to set up the basic configurations before I can check if there's a problem or not.

Again - What do I need to do, and how do I do it?

do I need to config my router?

Do I use DMZ rules, or port forwarding or both?

Do I need to enable UPNP on the router?

Do I need to set up a static IP on my PC?

I'm not sure what I need to do... or how to do it...

I would really appreciate your help on this!!

2. לבדוק לאיזה פורטים התוכנות מוגדרות להאזין.

3. להפנות את הפורטים לאותו מחשב בנתב.

אני מציע לך לא להתעסק עם UPnP כי זה סתם פרצת אבטחה מפגרת.

BTW - I want to use more than one laptop with the router - can I config a static IP on the router - so that every time it gives the PC an IP it will be the same IP every time? This way, the PC can be configured as "dynamic IP" but it will always be the same...??

If I understand correctly - the router gives the PC the IP, not the other way.

Another question - do I have to call my ISP and ask for the IP that I should use as static IP, or do I just decide on my own?

OK - I did a few things:

1. Just to check, I looked up my IP and put it in the forwarding page of the router - now my emule/torrnets are working fast! Great - except next time I connect to the internet I'll get another IP...ok - this was just a check

2. I tried setting a static IP on my PC - I followed all the instructions but my PC could not connect to the router. I opened the network connections config window again - it went back to "dynamic"! Why did this happen? I followed all the instructions on portforward, exactly!
