אומנם אני סטודנט להנדסת חשמל, אך כיוון שהקורסים המעניינים יתחיל עוד שנה/שנתיים אני בינתיים לומד כמה שאפשר לבד.

בספר The art of electronics יש מעגל שאני לא לגמרי מבין. המעגל מצורף להודעה זו.

השאלה היא מדוע מקור הזרם הזה יהיה יציב יותר מאשר מקור זרם עם JFET בודד? הבנתי שהרעיון הוא ש-Q2 ישמור את Vd של Q1 קבוע, ואז לא תהייה השפעה של Vds על הזרם. השאלה היא כיצד Q2 מסייע ליצב את המתח הזה? ולא פחות חשוב, מדוע נדרש ש-Idss של Q2 יהיה גבוה יותר מזה של Q1?
