למה ה VISTA תופסת כ"כ הרבה מקום ?

התקנתי את ה VISTA ULTIMATE יחד עם תוכנות שהיו לי גם ב XP אך המקום שהכל תופס הוא לפחות פי 2 מה XP,

הכל תופס לי איזה 20GB שבXP הכל תפס לי מקסימום 8GB .

כשבדקתי כמה כל ספריה תופסת שמתי לב שהכל מגיע אולי ל 10GB היכן נעלמו לי עוד 10GB ? ואיך ניתן להחזיר אותם ?

    בדקת מה הדרישות מערכת של הויסטה..?....ניחוש הם לא סתם גבוהות היא תופסת לא מעט..

    את זה הבנתי,אבל היכן כל שאר המקום שהמע' תופסת ואני לא רואה ?

    בעיקרון זה יכול להיות הPF וכל מיני קבצים מוסתרים...

    אם כל מה שעשית זה להתקין מערכת ותוכנות אין לך שם שום זבל מיותר..

    This was done using Vista Retail Which is Build v.6.0.6000.16386

    Vista is way to bloated with stuff that is hardly used so I put it on a diet!

    Here is what was removed;

    Drivers

    Modems (this is mostly dial up)

    Scanners-If you have a scanner it came with drivers, and most scanners are built into printers anymore!

    All Games-They were weak anyway!

    Fax Supprt-This is for fax machines.

    All Extra Languages-English only!

    Tablet PC

    Media Samples

    Connect to a network Projector

    Internet Information Services (IIS)-Web Server, Allows you to host your own web site and some college related tasks.

    Windows Collaboration

    MS DFS Replication

    Remote Registry

    Task Scheduler

    Windows remote

    Windows Search-Removes indexing of files by search in the background, you can still do searches, but removing

    this frees up a lot of system reasources!!

    Accessibility

    Help-Sorry had to go! Very very large part of Vista!

    Natural Language-Part of Speech

    Partental Controls-Your kidding right!

    Sync Center-This is briefcase and allows servers, and networked computers to sync files

    System Restore-Real Men don't use Restore they reinstall! (Besies whats the repair option for in setup?)

    Windows Easy Transfer- NO Upgrading from previous versions of Windows! You must do a clean install!

    Screensavers

    Sideshow-This is supposed to be for a future technology for laptops.

    Speech Support-Allows you to talk to your computer, I cuss at mine all the time doesn't help!!

    Error Reporting-This is that anoying little box that pops up and wants to know if you want to send a report to MS.

    Tweaks

    Enabled Glass effect-This may mean you better have a minimum of 64mb of Video RAM!

    Disabled User Account Control (UAC)-Stupid stunt by MS to start with!

    I got this down to 1.78gb!! very small compared to the 3.57gb of the retail version!

    I tried to leave all the best of Vista in there, So please try it out and let me know what you think.
