    כל קונפיגורציית ה boot מ Windows Vista מתבצעת באמצעות tool בשם BCDEdit. תריץ cmd כ Administrator (קליק ימני ->Run As Administrator) ותכניס bcdedit .

    בשביל להגדיר את סדר האתחול תשמש ב bcdedit /bootsequenct .

    בשביל לקבוע את ה default, תשמש ב bcdedit /default עם הפרמטר של המערכת הדיפולטית (אתה רואה את זה בפלט של bcdedit לבד).

    יש כלי צד-שלישי, כמו Vista Boot Pro שעושים את כל זה בשבילך.
