    ב- regional settings לך ל- ADVANCED ותוודא שכל השורות שלידן כתוב hebrew מסומנות. בדרך כלל הן לא. אם יש פה מישהו שמותקן אצלו 2000 - יהיה מצויין אם יוכל להדריך בדיוק איפה ללחוץ, מאחר ואני עובד עם XP ולא זוכר את זה בע"פ.

    לגבי הבעיה השניה, לך ללוח הבקרה, power options, ותסמן שם את האפשרות לשימוש ב-APM. אם אין אפשרות כזאת, תוודא שזה ב- enable ב- bios.
