Sorry i am writing english simply no hebrew on this PC.

I've made an upgrade into "second hand parts" that i ordered from some one yesterday.

the upgraded comp is

AMD opteron 165 (dual core 3800+

2GB DDR400 OCZ XTC GOLD EDITION

M/B is Asus A8N Premium SLI

Two cards of ASUS Geforce 7900GT

1X WD Raptor SATA 37GB HDD

1X Maxtor IDE 160GB HDD 7500RPM

ThermalTake WaterCooler for CPU

Now two things, One Question and one Issue.

1) When finished to build the computer i have turned it on and i heared some wierd tiktak noises but not HDD or some thing i was not sure what it is. After approx 15min Computer Frozen.. I didnt rebooted it i left it for few mins to see what happens if its unfreez it self but nothing happend and i heard like SPLASH noise from the first VGA card. i touched it and it was SUPER hot then i looked on the cooler fan based of the card i found out one of the Water PIPES that was going from outside case to the CPU AMD was littlebit attached tot he FAN center of the VGA cooler and simply prevented from VGA's cooler fan to rolling smoothly which caused the geforce7900gt overheat and freez the whole computer. i instantly turned off then the computer and moved the pipe away from the card, i turned on the computer and then all worked super.

Could the Geforce7900gt be damaged due to what happend?or it got some kind of self protection which is why the computer frozen to prevent damge?

2) afterwards i installed chipset drivers and downloaded some file from internet into my IDE hdd drive and the file was not readable!!! corrupted. i tried play a game GRAW and had crash error coz game was based on the IDE drive. after approx 10min i looked inside the HDD drive and saw there is ONLY one file and it was WIERD! where all rest 140GB of data? then after few mins the IDE drive partition simply GONE no more in MY COMPUTER. and when i tried to look into DISK MANAGEMENT in windows XP it shows as the IDE hdd is "unallocated space" wierd!!!! i turned my PC from boot CD with partion tool and appearntly i saw the IDE drive with all data INSIDE from this tool BUT the drive had no latters its had like "?" while the sata HDD all fine with D/C drives partitions.

how it happend ? how should i go ahead and fix itt? hdd regenarator tool from HIRENS cd will fix it? coz i simply cant see the partions under MY computer in windows..... but only with partiotn dos tool.

הכרטיס ברוב המקרים לא נפגם מחום, אולי המאורר נפגם אבל אותו אפשר להחליף.

פשוט תגדיר לו אות. ב-disk management תלחץ עם ימני על הפרטישן ושם change drive letter and paths.

המאוורר עובד סבבה ,שני כרטיסים 53בערך מעלות. לגבי הרד דיסק .לא ניתן לשנות אות כי וינדוס לא רואה פרטישן, אגב תגובה זאת אני כותב דרך פלאפון

נסה בעזרת ה-repair console לעשות כך:

CD /D [volume letter]
FIXMBR

אם הוא לא מגיע לדיסק אז זו בעיה אחת, אם הוא מצליח ועושה תיקון ל-MBR יש סיכוי שזה יעבוד.

אם לא תנסה תכונות צד שלישי כמו פרטישן מג'יק לנסות ולתקן שם את הדיסק.
