כרטיס מסך לא מזוהה! (עודכן)

היו מותקנים במחשב הדרייברים הרגילים של NVIDIA, מחקתי אותם והתקנתי את הדרייברים האחרונים של OMEGA.

ההתקנה עברה בהצלחה, כמו שאתם יכולים לראות בתמונה המצורפת, אבל כשהמחשב עולה הוא עדיין מודיע לי על חומרה חדשה לא מותקנת (VGA CARD) וגם הכרטיס מסך לא מזוהה בהגדרות (תמונה מצורפת).

מה יכולה להיות הסיבה לזה? אני לא מעוניין לחזור לדרייברים של NVIDIA, כי מנסיון כל כמה שנים עם כרטיסי מסך אחרים, הדרייברים של OMEGA מראים ביצועים ואיכות הרבה יותר טובה.

קראתי את קובץ העזרה של הדרייברים, ושם מצאתי את ההוראות האלה:

How to manually install the Nvidia Omega drivers in Windows XP if you

have problems with the auto installer:

1- Close all programs

2- Right Click "My Computer" in your desktop and select "properties" OR

press "start" and do the above

3- Go to the "Hardware" TAB, then click on "Device Manager"

4- Expand the "display adapters" icon

5- Double click your video adapter

6- Go to the "driver" TAB

7- Click on the "Update Driver" button

8- Select "Install from a list...", click "Next"

9- Select "Don't search. I will choose...", click "Next"

10- Press the "Have Disk..." button

11- Press "Browse" to look for the folder where the drivers where extracted,

(if the extraction folder was not changed during installation, it should

be "C:\Program Files\Nvidia Omega Drivers\vX.XXXX") inside it you will find

a folder named "2KXP_INF", this is where the drivers are located (don't

select the Performance or Quality folders, those are ONLY for backup purposes),

press "Open" after the INF is displayed in the upper window, click "OK"

12- You video card should be displayed in the list and already be selected,

click "Next"

13- Windows will warn you that the drivers are not signed, just click "Continue

Anyway" to force the installation

14- The drivers shall now install, if Windows asks you if you want overwrite a

newer files that is already installed in your PC, SAY YES, REPLACE THE NEWER

FILES, if you don't overwrite them the drivers will not work as intended and

could make Windows crash unable to boot. After that just press "finish",

"close" and you will be prompted to restart you PC, say "yes".

15- Done!, Enjoy!

פעלתי לפי השלבים האלה בדיוק, במחשבה שהדרייברים הותקנו בצורה לא טובה למרות זאת, אבל קיבלתי הודעה שההתקנה נכשלה :-\ (מצורפת תמונה)
