on the other hand, fluxbox looks a lot better when configured, and its a lot more customizable

you are looking at screen shots of a few *years* old release ( thats 0.1.1, which was dropped in favor of the 0.9, which is now 1.0preX)

in the official site that states a few line above that user made themes should not be uploaded there.

but let us leave that aside. you are saying something is ugly based off THAT?

first off look at toad's screenshot. is that ugly? hell no.

secondly, if it is, so? does that mean every fluxbox looks like that?

you are calling the most customizable WM out there ugly, without using it?
