  1. mini3 does look kinda cool also is much better than a cmoy.. that ground channel should really help.. and its better to use a railsplitter.. and charger. nice :) dont be afraid of SMD either its really not that hard. tangent has some video tutorials on his site with some good tips

I'm not gonna bother with another thread and stuff.. if I get around to it, I'll just order bits for like 5 amps.. if ppl want them, cool...

if you dont mind something a little bigger than the mint tin, I really like the pimeta. 3 channel + buffer and biasable.. a little more current hungry though.

I think I could do a mini3 though. maybe with someone we can split delivery and stuff...

edit: I'm not sure mini3 is for me right now.. my cans need more current anyway. I need to focus on getting my millet hybrid max parts ;D

  2. yeah though thats cause its simple enough to build without a pcb. i think it adds the 'connect the dots' element that can be learnt with perf board.

people have built pcbs before though.. there's just no demand to mass produce them. one could also learn layout and the toner method and do it themseves too.. anyway, I'm unfamiliar with any kit though my parents are going to the states soon.. I think I could get parts for 5 or 6 for people here.. I feel I need to return a little to the community anyway :) (and I need to buy some parts for myself too :P) maybe I'll get in touch with jeff and get 3 or 4 alien dac kits I'm sure some of you guys would like to build them too.. but learning how to get the parts is kind of fun.. it just gets really expensive in this country :(

like the proper volume pots and capacitor types...

oh. anyone want custom built docks? I can make them for like 120 sheks.. silver wire, etc....

  3. jeff from glassjaraudio is great.. although I dont think anything that he offers is something to try tackle as a first project in DIY. toying witha CMoy or 2 first would be a good starting point. then move on to more intricate amps.

p.s if youre not too ino DIY after all, just look at meier-audio's MOVE.
