i own a motorola surfboard 4200 cable modem.

i heard "here and there" that it is possible to update the firmware of the modem in order be able to get a higher download/upload speed.

1/is it true?

2/how to do it?

3/ do you know any websites with tutorials?

No, it is not allowed to speak on such matters here, since they are considered hacking/cracking.
