i've upgraded from win XP sp2 to windows vista beta 2, now i want to get my XP back, How can i do that without installing a new and fresh windows XP SP2????? Eli

I got now Vista Without SP, and i got CD with X64 SP2. When I try to boot from the CD, from some reason it not start installing the new vista. I got the same problem with my X86 SP2 Vista. (I couldnt install it on my XP) But now when I got X86 without SP, I can install the X86 SP2. So its mean i need to get X64 sp1? and only after to install the SP2? btw, i did mistake and when i install the vista i change the language writing to English. how can I change it to hebrew aswell?

i wanted to know how to add hebrew support in windows xp professional ediotion ?

Whenever I try to do it via the control panel it claims "setup was unable to install the chosen locale. p;ease contact your system administrator" I have an XP CD (even in hebrew) but i dont know any other way to add Hebrew..

how can I omit the the windows logo, so I can reduce the boot delay? does any-1 know other ways of making the boot process faster?

Sorry for writing in english, but it's easier to type this way A week ago I spilled some water inside my laptop keyboard. At the beginning I couldn't type at all, but now the only problem I have is whenever I click the "n" or "b" keys the caps lock turns on (but the letters appear). Clicking on the actual caps lock key doesn't work. I think the solution wouldn't be to map the caps lock key, but to completely disable its function (as if caps lock function doesn't exists in the system). How can I do it? I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise, and my laptop is HP Pavilion dv9750 Thanks in advance! Tom

כאמור יש לי תוכנה מאוד ישנה (92') שאני מנסה להריץ על XP ובלא הצלחה. התוכנה עובדת לי מצויין על המחשב הישן מאוד שלי ( MMX 200 64M SDRAM ). כמו שאני הבנתי מה HELP של התוכנה זה שהתוכנה עובדת ב expanded memory - EMS . איך אני מפיל את ה EMS ב XP ??? תודה מראש !!! ד"א מקש ימיני על קובץ הפעלת התוכנה וכניסה לטאב של הזיכרון לא עוזר.

שלום, אני מעוניין לדעת אם יש פקודה\סקריפט שאפשר להריץ ב powershell או ב cmd על מנת לראות את העידכונים שמחכים להתקנה?(בתחנה רגילה - לא בדומיין) הרצתי חיפוש בגוגל וכל מה שמצאתי היה פקודה ב powershell "get-pending" אך היא עוסקת בעידכונים שמגיעים מה WSUS. אשמח לעזרתכם, תודה.

יש לנו דומיין קונטרולר ישן. החלטנו לקנות עוד שרת חדש ולהחליף ביניהם. בשרת הנוכחי יש עוד כל מיני בעיות ודברים שאנחנו רוצים לשנות לכן החלטנו להתקין הכל מחדש. עכשיו יש שני דומיין קונטרולרים ברשת. אני רוצה להוריד את הישן. העניין הוא שאני רוצה להפוך את הישן לקופסא של פיירוול לינוקס. אז קניתי דיסק קשיח חדש שאני אחבר אליה ואתקין בו פיירוול. בנוסף, אני שומר את הדיסק הקשיח של הקונטרולר הישן ובמידה וקורה משהו לחדש מיד מחליף דיסקים קשיחים ורוצה שהשרת הישן יתפקד בתור קונטרולר. אז איך לעשות את זה? להדיח את הישן, להשאיר את החדש, במידה וקורה משהו לקדם את הישן שוב? פשוט לנתק את הישן מהרשת? משהו אחר? לרדת מהרעיון? תודה.

יש ברשותי מחשב נייד חדש של HP מדגם DV5269EA שנקנה לפני חודשיים. לפני כשבועיים עשיתי עדכונים למערכת ההפעלה דרך האתר של מייקרוסופט, ביניהם התקנתי את IE7 וWM11, הווינדווס חוקי לחלוטין, בין היתר התקנתי את OFFICE 2007 ועוד מספר תוכנות שיצאו להם עדכונים כמו WINAMP וכדומה. לאחר העדכונים שמתי לב למספר בעיות מוזרות מאוד, 1 - זון אלארם מקפיא את המחשב לגמריי מדיי פעם כשקופצת הודעה לאישור גישה לאינטרנט לתוכנות. 2 - כשאני לוחץ על הלחצן המהיר שנמצא במקלדת שאמור להשתיק את הסאונד המחשב קופא אבל קופא בצורה כזאת שהעכבר זז, רואים ששורת המשימות מתפקדת, האייקונים זזים ומתעדכנים, כשאני לוחץ על לחצן חלונות במקלדת נפתח לי תפריט התחל אבל אין לי אפשרות לעשות כלום, לא עם המקלדת ולא עם העכבר,…

At first, I had the "boot mgr is missing" problem. Because of that, I changed the boot-devices order to boot from DVD three times (There was no OS since I've changed the HDD). I then installed Windows 7, weirdly over and over and over again (I'm always drunk ). Then it turned out to me that I've installed Windows 5 times.I entered the BIOS and put the boot from devices order like this: DVD, DVD, HDD. I now entered the windows setup disk, and instead of installing it again I chose to repair windows. That's when I saw that I have 5 windows 7's. What should I do next? Could I delete 4 of the OSes? hello, I have a little problume as you can see I can only write in english. I installed WIN 98 Sec Edtion befor the I had WIN XP but my computer isn't strong for that system, i I did a format on my computer and a friend of mine gave me a CD of WIN 98 Sec Edtion, anyway I installed everything and suddenlly i see that it's not Hebrew enabale' how can i install hebrew on my computer, plz help me ! thank you, all Some Thing...
