בדומה ל-Live! 5.1, גם כרטיס הקול החדש של קריאטיב, ה-Audigy, סובל מבעיות תאימות עם לוחות-אם מבוססי צ'יפסטים של VIA (וזה לא משנה לאיזה מעבד).
בביקורת באתר GameSpot נכתב באחד החסרונות: "בעיות על לוחות-אם מבוססי צ'יפסטים של VIA", ובכל זאת הכרטיס קיבל ציון: "9.0, Supurb".
כשלכרטיס יש בעיות עם כ-50 אחוז מהלוחות בעולם, (גם) לי זה לא נראה הגיוני לתת לו ציון כזה.. בייחוד כשהמחיר של כרטיס המסך "Santa Cruz" המתחרה ירד כבר ל-60 דולר בלבד..
רק חבל שאין אותו בארץ..
הנה ציטוט מהביקורת על ה-Audigy:
"Unfortunately for owners of AMD Athlon systems who use VIA chipsets, the new Sound Blaster Audigy cards have many of the same compatibility problems as did the previous Live! line. Soon after we installed the Audigy, our Athlon experienced audio and system hangs, background audio popping, and many crashes. Only a full upgrade and subsequent tweaks of the system BIOS stabilized everything. This may be more work and risk than many gamers are willing to bear."
